Today is the first day of the Pokémon GO Battle League (GBL) Ultra League and Ultra League Premier. I ended the Great League at Rank 20 and it's my first time reaching that far. However, the first day of Ultra League is filled with loses that it's annoying. I am reminded today why I hate GBL because I hate losing and failing. Below are the teams I tested and the matchups I got.
Ultra League: Swampert, Giratina_Altered, and Regirock
Wins: 7/15 (47%)
I am still learning about the weaknesses of this three Pokémon so I will keep using them for the time being so I can gather more data and replace one or two of them as needed.
According to GO Battle Log (it's an awesome app where you can record your battles and it creates beautiful charts for you), my team lost to Ground-type, Dark-type, Fairy-type, Water-type, and Ghost-type.

Ultra League Premier: Sirfetch'd, Swampert, and Machamp
Wins: 2/5 (40%)
It's a small sample size, but it's painful to be losing so much. To be fair, one of the loses is because I got distracted by work.
Ultra League Premier: Machamp, Swampert, and Venesaur
Wins: 3/5 (60%)
It's a small sample size, but it felt good to win three times. I will continue to use this team and see which types it will match up against my team and make changes from there.
