Pokémon GO Fest 2021 Free Event Details

When is Pokémon GO Fest 2021?

  • Day 1 will be on Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time.
  • Day 2 will be on Sunday, July 18, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time.

What to expect on Day 1 (Catch) of Pokémon GO Fest 2021?

Hourly Habitats

Just like last year, this year will feature four themed habitat hours rotating throughout the event. During each habitat hour, certain Pokémon will be appearing more frequently in the wild.
  • The Jungle habitat will feature Pokémon such as Scyther, Aipom, Froakie, and more.
  • The Desert Mountain habitat will feature Pokémon such as Skarmory, Shieldon, Hippopotas, and more.
  • The Ocean Beach habitat will feature Pokémon such as Dratini, Swablu, Alomomola, and more.
  • The Cave habitat will feature Pokémon such as Roggenrola, Galarian Stunfisk, Deino, and more.

Raids

Raids will feature the following Pokémon:
  • Hitmontop
  • Cranidos
  • Deino
  • Galarian Ponyta wearing special costume
  • Galarian Zigzagoon wearing special costume

Wild

Pokémon related to music will be appearing in the wild throughout the day:
  • Chimecho
  • Kricketot
  • Audino
  • Pikachu wearing a special costume

Shiny Debut

The following Pokémon will be making their Pokémon GO debut:
  • Whismur
  • Chimecho
  • Audino
  • Tympole

What to expect on Day 2 (Raid) of Pokémon GO Fest 2021?

All Pokémon appearing more frequently in the wild on Saturday will be appearing again on Sunday during event hours.

Legendary Pokémon will be appearing globally in five-star raids!

Wind Hour

From 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. local time, the following Pokémon will be appearing in five-star raids:
  • Mewtwo
  • Ho-Oh
  • Latias
  • Latios
  • Regigigas
  • Altered Forme Giratina
  • Cresselia
  • Therian Forme Tornadus

Lava Hour

From 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. local time, the following Pokémon will be appearing in five-star raids. 
  • Moltres
  • Entei
  • Regirock
  • Groudon
  • Heatran
  • Reshiram
  • Therian Forme Landorus
  • Yveltal 

Frost Hour

From 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, the following Pokémon will be appearing in five-star raids.
  • Articuno
  • Suicune
  • Lugia
  • Regice
  • Kyogre
  • Palkia
  • Kyurem 
Plus, Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf will be appearing in five-star raids in the regions that they normally appear in!

Thunder Hour

From 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. local time, the following Pokémon will be appearing in five-star raids. 
  • Zapdos
  • Raikou
  • Registeel
  • Rayquaza
  • Dialga
  • Therian Forme Thundurus
  • Zekrom
  • Xerneas

Lure Modules

All lure modules activated during event hours will last for three hours.

Eggs

1/2 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator during event hours.

7 km Eggs

Pokémon hatching from 7 km eggs will include:
  • Igglybuff
  • Chinglig
  • Audino
  • and more
